A high-performance, professional switch-mode power amplifier designed to deliver serious output from a compact 1U chassis. The Q10 combines high power density, low weight, and a robust modular architecture, making it well suited to touring systems, installs, and high-output subwoofer applications. Weighing just over 10 kg, the Q10 significantly reduces rack weight and makes transport, setup, and breakdown faster and easier. Recessed stepped attenuators allow accurate and repeatable gain matching, while a fully modular four-channel design gives each channel its own dedicated switched-mode power supply. This ensures consistent output, excellent stability, and zero crosstalk between channels, regardless of load or drive conditions.

The amplifier uses a proven pulse-width modulation output stage with a high switching frequency and precisely controlled deadtime, resulting in very low distortion across the operating range. Compared with traditional transformer-based designs, this approach delivers higher efficiency, reduced weight, and improved thermal performance, without compromising audio quality. Designed for long-term reliability, the high-efficiency power supply minimises heat and energy waste, while comprehensive protection systems help ensure dependable operation under demanding real-world conditions.

All four channels are identical. Each channel has its own dedicated switched-mode power supply, meaning output power per channel remains consistent whether one channel is driven or all four.

Per channel power output:

• 2500 W into 2 ohms (EIAJ 8:32 burst, 1 kHz, 1% THD)
• 1300 W into 2 ohms (100 Hz, 10-second continuous)
• 2350 W into 4 ohms (1 kHz continuous)
• 2200 W into 4 ohms (100 Hz continuous)
• 1250 W into 8 ohms (1 kHz continuous)

EIAJ ratings represent short-term burst power measured with signals of typical musical crest factor and are broadly comparable to loudspeaker program power ratings. Continuous low-frequency signals into low impedances will activate current limiting as part of the amplifier’s self-protection system, reducing usable continuous output. Sustained clipping for more than two seconds will trigger automatic protection. In practical music and live sound use, higher crest-factor signals are usually voltage-limited rather than current-limited, allowing significantly higher burst output than continuous low-frequency test conditions.
