TSA Blacken 99 - Recone Adhesive Glue

Blacken 99 Universal Super Black Adhesive. 3 in 1 adhesive, sealant and gasket. A general purpose slow curing recone adhesive. Ideal for speaker reconing and especially for neat dust cap gluing! Very high maximum tensile strength of up to 90 kg/ sq in. High durability. Heat resistant up to 300 degrees celsius.

Precautions:

- Provide adequate Ventilation.
- Avoid Skin or Eye Contact.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Application:
The glue has a black dye in it, which can separate slightly, if this bothers you, when opening a new tube, discard the first inch of glue from the nozzle, or until the glue comes out black and not clear.
For larger stronger joints, such as mounting the spider or suspension of a speaker, apply an even bead across metal on the driver chassis, and then spread out with a suitable tool. Leave for 5 mins for the solvent to disperse and then make the joint, applying even gently pressure to bed the speaker parts in the glue. Once aligned, leave for 24 hours to harden
For small joints, such as dust domes with a lip, apply sparingly on to the lip of the dust dome, a bare minimum just enough to coat it fully, and then put the dust dome in place immediately, you should have just enough on there to squeeze out a tiny bit of excess glue. Placing the dust dome is best done with a loop of masking tape on the top of the dust dome, this makes it easier to hold and place centrally.
